Letters From Mrs. Wolf and Mrs. Segna

A First Grade Team Approach

My name is Karen Wolf and I am now in my fourth year team teaching first grade with Mrs. Segna. I have over 20 years experience in various schools, but I am very proud of my 12 years as a part of the St. Anne's school community-- where my own three children attended. Katie, 22, now resides in St. Louis for an AmeriCorps position, Travis is a junior at the U of M Twin Cities, and Kendra is a junior at LSH High School. My husband Bob is a self-employed agronomist, and we enjoy residing in the Henderson valley with our dog, cats, and gardens. I'm looking forward to another year of learning with first graders, as we grow in our knowledge, in our faith, and in our awareness of God's beautiful world.

My name is Kathy Segna and I also am in my fourth year of team teaching with Mrs. Wolf. I am presently in my 7th year at St. Anne's School with over 20 years of experience in education and 10 years in administration. I also am the principal of St. Anne's School. I have two grown children Bryce and Rachel. My son Bryce is in accounting, has a significant other and a dog named Brutus and lives in Plymouth. My daughter Rachel is a social worker, is married to a fire fighter and lives and works in Winona. My husband, John, is employed at Conn Agra in New Prague and works in the warehouse. My husband and I live about a mile and half outside of Montgomery presently with our three kittens. I too look forward to having a great year at St. Anne's with the first graders as they grow in their love for God, in their academics and develop positive character traits.
