Letters From Mrs. Guckeen
May 1, 2008
Dear Parents,
May has arrived and jammed pack with activities. Four weeks from tonight is the sixth grade graduation, May 28th. It traditionally starts with Mass at 7:00 p.m. at St. Anne's Church. Following Mass there is a reception for the graduates and their guests back at school. Pam Schwartz is working on gathering ideas to make this very special for the class. Recently there has been an informal gathering of the class after the reception for the graduates and their parents at one of their homes. Bob and Barb Alander have offered to host this party at their home if this is what you want this year. We want to make this a very special occasion for your child and we welcome your suggestions in making this happen. Please call, or write down your ideas. If we need to meet to discuss anything we could always do it the night of their spring program, May 20th.
MIDDLE SCHOOL VISIT
I have been working with Karla Undeberg, the counselor, on this and we will be making a visit on May 9th or 16th. At this time they will also be registering for next year. Permission slips will be coming when the date is finalized. More details will be coming later.
MAY 20th
This is the day of the Spring program, our last Mass which we are responsible for and also the day we thank our special volunteers. This would be all of you because you have truly given of your time and talents over the years to St. Anne's School and Parish. We could not have done it without you. You are fantastic parents.
GOLF OUTING BASKET
The class after much discussion came up with a nature theme for our basket. Some of them know exactly what they want to contribute so hopefully they have shared this with you. If not maybe you can offer suggestions, or send a cash donation so we can purchase items for the basket. These items can be sent to school anytime.
