Patrons Meeting – Patrons are the fund-raising group for St. Anne’s School. The September meeting will be Monday, Sept. 15th at 7:00 P.M. in the school library.  You are always welcome to attend.  The Patrons’ goal for this school year is $45,000.  This money is used to help with operating costs and is part of the school budget.  The Patrons Board does need your help at their fund raisers to help raise these dollars. Please recall that each adult is asked to work a Patrons event. Fair share hours will be given for working at the Wine Tasting Event, Belgium Waffle Breakfast, Fish Fry and Golf Open. Hours were given to workers, except grade 5 families, which worked Pioneer Power in August.  Funds earned at Pioneer Power will be going to grade 5 for their Environmental Learning Trip. Please see the enclosed letter from the Patrons Board.

Mass – Mrs. Grieves and grade 4 will be helping Father with the school liturgy next Tuesday, Sept. 16th.

Vision/Hearing
Screening Screening has been rescheduled for this Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 10:00.  We apologize if this caused you an inconvenience.

Fall Pictures
All students will have their school picture taken on Friday, Sept. 19th.  Each student must have their own envelope. The students may be in or out of uniform.  Preschoolers are also welcome to come at 8:00 A.M. to have their picture taken. Picture envelopes for preschoolers are available in the school office.

Marathon
The oldest in the family will receive the marathon envelope tomorrow at the marathon kickoff.  Our marathon will be on Friday, Oct. 3, after school.  On Friday, Oct. 3, we will keep the students at school, have a snack, a short rally and then begin our marathon walk at 3:30.  We will walk our route and return to school at 5:00 P.M.  We will have a family picnic supper shortly after 5:00 followed by awards.  Families should be on their home at 6:00 P.M.  Please think about volunteering to help the teachers with the students as they do the walk.  We will be sending home a notice in the near future asking you to sign up if you can  volunteer and also to register the number that will be coming from your family to eat.

Marathon Pizza Ranch Fundraiser We will be having a fundraiser at the Pizza Ranch for our school marathon.  It will be held Wednesday, Sept. 24th from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Mark your calendars! Get your St. Anne dollars, come and eat pizza, or do take out and support our school marathon!

You are invited to come to Applefest.  Applefest is a parish event.  Applefest will take place at St. Anne’s School on Sat. Sept. 20 and Sunday, Sept. 21.  There is fun for all ages and great food too!  Make plans to spend some time at Applefest next weekend!

Scrip
We have enclosed a Master Scrip list for your convenience. We keep the most widely used Scrip on hand, however, anything on that list can be ordered.   Please keep this in a handy place for your reference and to assist you with your purchases.

Messages If you call in to change your child’s transportation home at the end of the day please call in your changes before 2:45.  We cannot guarantee that we can get the change made if we receive the call after 2:45.  Thank you for your cooperation!

Marketing Signs
Ideally the marketing committee would appreciate each family making a donation for a marketing sign and then posting it on their lawn.  We suggest a donation of $10.  Please keep the signs on your lawn through fall, store for winter and then post again in the spring.  Thanks so much for your help!  Sincere thanks to Jill Reinhardt, Lorie Streeter and Scott Tiede for their work on this project!
