Pizza Ranch Fundraiser
The marathon committee is very grateful to those that came and supported St. Anne’s at the Pizza Ranch last Wed. evening. The manager and committee was very pleased with our turnout. We made $90. in tips!

Marathon
Tomorrow is our marathon! Please remember that the students will be staying after school. At 2:55 they will gather in their Celebration Circle and will be treated to a beverage and snack and be given a bathroom break before we begin! We will gather outside the office door by the pole for a short pep rally and prayer. We will walk from 3:30 to 5:00, rain or shine! We will have a picnic lunch in the cafeteria following the walk. After everyone has been served the committee will announce the awards! Clean up help will be appreciated. We hope to have everyone on their way home by 6:00 P.M. or sooner! Think marathon!

Cathedral and Vatican Splendors
The students will be attending a rosary pilgrimage with approximately 17 other Catholic Schools. The teachers will bring their students rosaries. The cooks will be packing a bag lunch for your child/ren unless you indicated on the form that was sent home that you would be packing one. The cost for the trip is $4.25. The students should wear their uniforms for safety. We have a place reserved at the History Center for 11:30 to eat our lunch. Our tour of the Vatican Splendors begins at 12:15. Any questions please call the school office or send a note. Thank you! Please pray for a safe trip!

School Advisory Meeting
The October meeting will be Tuesday, Oct. 7th at 7:00 P.M. in the school library. You are always welcome to attend.

Two Hour Late Start
The students have a 2 hour late start on Wednesday, Oct. 8. Their school day will begin at 10:01. The teachers will be doing a study on the Catholic Social Teaching and will be working on accreditation.

Columbus Day Luncheon
St. Anne’s Catholic Christian Women will be hosting their annual Columbus Day Luncheon. Treat yourself and bring a friend to a delicious salad luncheon and support the CCW.

Grandparents/Special Friends Day
Friday, October 10th is the day St. Anne’s has dedicated to people that are “special” in the eyes of our students. The theme is Oktoberfest! Please make sure that your child has invited someone! If you do not have someone close please let the school office know and we will find a “special” someone for your child! Sincere thanks to Mrs. Miller for all her the time, money and work that she put into making this a special time for the students and their grandparents/special friends.

Scholastic Bookfair
Mrs. Blaha will be having the Bookfair during Grandparents/Special Friends Day and during conferences. Please make plans to stop by the library. Consider purchasing a book for your child’s classroom. Books make nice birthday and Christmas gifts! We are very appreciative of all the work that Mrs. Blaha has done to make this event possible for the children of St. Anne’s.

Help
Mrs. Blaha could use help packing up the books on Wed. Oct. 15th. Please give Mrs. Blaha a call at school if either you or your children can help! She would greatly appreciate it! Thanks so much!

Midterm
October 13th marks midterm of trimester one! We will be having conferences on Monday, Oct. 13 from 3:20 to 6:40 and also on Tuesday, Oct. 14 from 3:20 to 5:00. Sign up is outside the school office.

MEA Vacation
We will not be having school Wed. October 15 – Oct. 17. We are hosting evening conferences rather than during the day on Wed. to help accommodate parents working schedules.
