Grandparents’/Special Friends Day
Sincere thanks to Mrs. Miller and the planning that she did for Grandparents’/Special Friends Day!

It was a fun afternoon! We are also very grateful to Mr. Miller for purchasing the keg of root beer and to our cooks, Mrs. Stockwell and Mrs. Isaacson, for making the pretzels and “behind the scenes” support from our staff!

Peer Mediation Training
Mrs. Grieves and four students from grade 4 and three students from grade 5 attended the peer mediation training. The students that were trained were: grade 5 = J. P. Boelter, Katherine Cronk and Hannah Wilmes, grade 4 = Alex Fulgum, Rhett Streeter, Janie Schwartz and Kayla Weiers.

Scholastic Bookfair
We are very grateful to Mrs. Blaha for all the time she spent bringing the Book fair to our school.

Thank you to all the families that participated and purchased books for their family and child’s classroom.

Mrs. Blaha was able to get $343. worth of books for our library and still has a voucher for $256.44!

We are very grateful to Melissa Christopherson, Linda O’Brien and Norma Nuessmeier for helping Mrs. Blaha with the packing!

MEA Painting Crew
Notice the top of our hallway the next time that you are in our building. It received a fresh coat of paint thanks to Julie Rabaey, Tammy Ludwig and Geri Callahan.

Conferences
The teachers appreciated you coming to conferences! We had nearly 100% participation!

Picture Retakes
Retakes have been scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 6. Parents that wish to have their child’s picture retaken need to send the current package that they now have back to the school office. Children that were absent may also have theirs taken, please make sure that you send the picture envelope with your check.

Mass
Mrs. Powers and her grade 3 students will be assisting Father with the school mass on Tuesday, Oct. 28th.

Father will also be blessing the students and adults that have October birthdays.

Computers
The next time you are at school take a peek at the “new look” in the computer lab! We are very appreciative of the time that Ms. Wilson and Mrs. Adams spent over MEA getting this done for us!

Cross Garden
Mrs. Grieves and Mrs. Wolf spent some time over MEA working up our cross garden and getting it winterized! Thanks so much!

Thanks for your lunch and tuition payments. Thanks too for taking care of your activities fees.

Have you remembered to take care of your child’s Oct. 7th field trip money?
